Dachmantechnik is a roofing and facade renovation company with long term experience on the Czech market and a strong focus on durable roof restoration for homes and commercial buildings.
My role was to take their online presence from a basic presentation site to a conversion oriented platform that can support both Czech and German clients.
From Idea to Launch
I was responsible for the website from the first wireframes and content structure to the final implementation.
The main goal was simple. The site should clearly explain what Dachmantechnik offers and make it easy for visitors to request a quote or consultation.
That meant working on information architecture, page flow, content layout and the technical setup that allows the site to grow over time.
Roof And Facade Configurator
A key feature of the project is an online configurator for roofs and facades.
Instead of only showing finished projects, we wanted visitors to interact with the site, think about their own building and send more specific enquiries.
The configurator guides users through basic choices related to their roof or facade and helps collect essential project information, which improves the quality of leads and makes follow up more efficient for the sales team.
Designing For Conversions
From the beginning the website was designed with conversions in mind.
Clear service descriptions, visible contact options and guided steps toward an enquiry were placed ahead of purely visual effects.
The aim was not to create a showpiece, but a practical tool that helps Dachmantechnik turn website visits into real projects with homeowners and business clients.
Expansion To Germany
As Dachmantechnik started focusing more on the German market, the website needed to reflect this shift.
The company wanted German speaking visitors to feel that the site speaks their language and understands their context, while the Czech version remains strong and easy to manage.
This created a natural next step for the project.
Multilingual Setup And Domains
To support both markets I implemented a multilingual structure with separate language versions for Czech and German.
Together with that came domain mapping so each market can use its own domain while still sharing one technical foundation.
The result is a setup where content for each language can be managed independently, search engines understand which version is for which audience, and users can switch languages without confusion.
What This Project Shows
This collaboration was more than a standard redesign.
It was a full journey from a simple website to a live, multilingual platform that supports real business development.
I worked on structure, content logic, the configurator, conversion paths, multilingual implementation and domain mapping for both Czech and German markets.
The website is prepared to grow together with Dachmantechnik as the company strengthens its position at home and in Germany.
